Project Type - Branding, Event Design
Role - Branding, Theme design, Print design
Tools - Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
Duration - 8 Weeks
Born under Netsavvies Media Co. in 2016, Hungrito is the brainchild of food enthusiast and marketing expert Sahil Shah. My task was to build main theme & all the require deliverables for the 3rd installment of the Hungrito food fest. It is an event where there’s a music and loads of different food and cusines from all over Gujarat, India.
Challenges
Hungrito is renowned for its unique events, where food and music take center stage. To enhance this vibrant core, we needed a distinctive theme that brings a fresh perspective to the brand while infusing a sense of fun. My role involves co-creating this new identity alongside talented designers, with interns sharing the load.
The real challenge lies in the deliverables. We must create designs that are versatile enough to adapt to various mediums—from print and social media to digital banners and newspaper ads. This flexibility ensures that the essence of Hungrito’s lively events is consistently conveyed across all platforms.
What I accomplished
After navigating numerous disagreements and experimenting with over five design styles and iterations, we finally settled on a unified approach. The next step involves creating repositories for these designs and transforming them into templates, enabling interns and junior designers to use them efficiently. Over the course of ten intense festival days, we attracted more than 89,000 visitors and managed a moving crowd of 12,000 people each day.
In conclusion
Ensuring seamless communication and impeccable organization of files and designs is crucial. An open-minded approach is essential to consider every possible scenario, crafting successful designs and avoiding any oversights. Crafting airtight plans is key. While we work on day-to-day tasks, we must plan months ahead, with decision-making playing a pivotal role in our success.
